Animate takes pride in giving everyone a voice where they haven’t always had one.
This image shows 9 performers on stage. They are dressed as different characters from The Wind In The Willows, classic old English outfits. There is a sign being held up that reads Toad Hall

Animate Community Interest Company (CIC). is a Plymouth-based theatre company focused on making high-quality theatre by putting inclusivity and accessibility at the centre. We create new theatre opportunities to those who may not ordinarily be able to gain access to them. Alongside our professional projects, through workshops and our Evolve programme, we teach a variety of skills to enable those to be more confident as well as develop transferrable qualities. Working with professional artists, directors, writers and volunteers, we have built a thriving community of individuals with the shared goal of making accessibility a creative element so our art can truly be inclusive.
